Job Description

We are seeking an Agile Project
Manager to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of
global-facing projects that connect internal business operations with external
customers. These projects involve the exchange of high volumes of sensitive
data, requiring precision, timeliness, and reliability.

This
role connects business needs with execution, leading software projects in a
complex, multi-entity environment. It involves managing requirements, driving
delivery, and ensuring strong stakeholder collaboration across teams and
systems.

Responsibilities

- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Delivery Managers, Scrum Masters,
developers, and business stakeholders to align on goals, priorities and
execution
- Team delivery: Act
as a servant leader by removing blockers, enabling team, and ensuring
delivery stays aligned with business needs
- Project Planning & Delivery: Own the project roadmap. Manage risks. Support team to
implement solutions to ensure milestones are met.
- Requirements Management: Work closely with BA's to build, document, and validate
functional specifications. You’ll do a lot of hands-on, functional
coordination.
- Backlog: Continuously
refine and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with
stakeholders and agile teams.
- Progress report: Monitor
sprint metrics, daily progress, and agile health indicators to maintain
transparency and delivery momentum.
- Reporting/Governance:
Maintain clear and timely communication with the Department Head regarding
project progress, risks, and delivery challenges. Ensure regular formal
reviews are conducted to jointly assess status, address escalations, and
align on critical decisions.

What you won’t be doing:

- You won't have any direct reporting lines
- You won’t own or manage project or
departmental budgets
- You won’t make technical decisions; these
are handled by solution architects or technical leads.
- This role does not include ownership of
product vision or strategy. The Agile Project Manager focuses on
execution, delivery, and functional alignment within the defined scope

Qualification

- Proven experience as
a Project Manager or Agile Project Manager delivering complex,
customer-facing software solutions.
- Strong foundation
in project management principles; certifications such
as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (Scrum, PMI-ACP) are a
strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience
with backend, data-driven systems, preferably using Microsoft
Azure tools and services.
- Ability to operate effectively
in ambiguous and fast-changing environments, while maintaining
structure, clarity, and well-documented processes.
- Knowledge of the maritime
transport and shipping industry is a strong plus.
- Strong intercultural awareness. Experience with
globally distributed teams, especially with offshore setups.
- Available to travel - 2 trips to india per year, plus few trips to Italy.
- Excellent communication
skills in English, both written and verbal.
