Agile Project Leader, Lund

In this role, you will guide key software initiatives for our AXIS OS, fostering an environment where quality, creativity, and cybersecurity go hand-in-hand. If you have experience facilitating tech teams, guiding product backlogs, or leading software projects, and love building strong relationships across dynamic teams, we would love to welcome you onboard!

This position is open in our HQ in Lund, Sweden.

Who is your future team?

You will partner with our Streaming and HTTP Framework team, a supportive and innovative group developing core components for the AXIS OS Linux platform. We pride ourselves on psychological safety, open knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning.

What you'll do here as an Agile Project Leader?

As an Agile Project Leader, you will help connect our long-term strategy with everyday development, ensuring our teams have the clarity, support, and alignment they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and refine the product backlog to ensure smooth delivery and focused priorities.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders and teams to align shared dependencies and build strong, trusting working relationships.
• Translate business and technical needs into clear, actionable goals with a strong focus on end-user impact.
• Facilitate agile planning and nurture an open, encouraging environment where continuous improvement is celebrated.
• Identify and remove obstacles so developers both inside and outside Axis can focus on delivering high-quality software.

Who are you?

We'd love to hear that you have:

• Background as a Project Leader, Team Lead, Product Owner, Backlog Owner, or similar software leadership role.
• A practical understanding of agile methodologies and software development processes.
• A genuine interest in empowering people, navigating dynamic environments, and fostering inclusive team cultures.
• An open-minded, collaborative approach paired with the confidence to negotiate priorities and make thoughtful decisions when needed.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience in technical project leadership.
