At APMT Terminals, we foster a dynamic learning and training culture that empowers our employees to excel. Our commitment to improvement is driven by Lean principles, ensuring that every team memberhas the opportunity todevelop their skills and advance their careers. Experience a diverse, multinational workplace where your operational insights directly influence how we work.

This is an exciting career opportunity to work in a multinational, Global 500 company that makes global trade happen. You will be interacting daily with colleagues internationally, giving you the opportunity to develop your professional skills in a global environment. We provide support for you to shape your own career by achievingexpertiseand learning on the job.

We are looking for an Agile PMO to join our Operations Technology & Analytics department. This is a role for someone who thrives at applying a structured approach to plan for and progress track data-driven business improvements – someone who brings rigour to planning, relentlessness to execution, and the critical thinking needed to keep complex programmes on track. You will be the engine that keeps our delivery teams running smoothly. You will own the agile cadence across the programmes, facilitate quarterly planning cycles, and serve as the key sparring partner for teams defining what “done” truly means. You’ll operate comfortably between reporting for C-level and hands-on sprint execution – and you won’t stop chasing until every action is closed. This is a remote-first position. Proximity to Bangalore or Pune is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates from across India.

Key Responsibilities :

Quarterly Planning & Governance

  • Facilitate and own the end-to-end quarterly planning process for developer supply vs. demand, proactively collecting information from stakeholders, challenging effort estimates, and ensuring alignment across the programme.
  • Prepare clear, concise progress reports for C-level leadership, translating complex programme status into actionable insights.
  • Facilitate bi-weekly governance calls, ensuring the right stakeholders attend, discussions stay focused, and decisions lead to documented actions with owners and deadlines.
  • Track value of different initiatives as per pre-defined value estimates, on timely basis.

Agile Delivery

  • Facilitate the full agile cycle for the programme, including all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Actively chase impediments and action items across teams – you do not accept “no” and persist until blockers are resolved.
  • Monitor sprint progress and velocity, proactively flagging risks and keeping the programme on track.

Quality & Delivery Assurance

  • Partner with development and data science teams as a key sparring partner to define clear, measurable acceptance criteria for tickets and epics.
  • Critically assess when deliverables are truly complete – going beyond surface-level demos to ensure quality, robustness, and alignment with business intent.
  • Maintain a comprehensive overview of programme progress, dependencies, and risks, and report against this consistently.

Who We Are Looking For?

You are structured, proactive, and relentless. You bring energy to every stand-up and governance call, and you take personal ownership of making things happen.

Must-Have

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or PMO lead, with deep knowledge of Agile methodology – from in-sprint ceremonies to quarterly planning (e.g. PI Planning / Big Room Planning).
  • Proven experience working with data science and software development teams – you understand the unique rhythms, tooling, and challenges of technical product delivery.
  • PMO experience within a large corporate environment, including preparation of C-level reports and executive-ready programme updates.
  • A highly proactive mindset – you anticipate issues before they escalate and chase actions relentlessly until they are closed. You do not wait to be asked.
  • Strong critical thinking – you question assumptions, challenge estimates, and push teams to deliver with precision.
  • Exceptionally structured – you bring clarity to complexity and keep multiple workstreams clearly visible and on track.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating across all levels of an organisation.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with AI-powered workflow automation to increase personal efficiency and scalability – for example, using AI tools to automate reporting, status tracking, or stakeholder follow-ups.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe) or PMO certification (PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Familiarity with the logistics, supply chain, or maritime industry.
  • Experience with value definition of initiatives, based on conceptual calculation models.

What We Offer : At Maersk, we believe in empowering our people to grow, develop, and make a real impact on global trade. In this role, you can expect:

  • The opportunity to work at the heart of Maersk’s digital transformation, alongside world-class data scientists and software engineers.
  • A collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environment where different perspectives are valued and every voice matters.
  • Access to continuous learning and development opportunities to help you reach your full potential.
  • The chance to be part of a company that moves 20% of global trade – your work here has real-world impact.
