At ME/ECO, you will work in a volatile and international environment and be part of a forward-thinking software development team. We are in an Agile Transition, meaning we are in the process of establishing Agile methods and adapting them to our needs and challenges as required.
Your tasks:
► You will take on the role of Agile Master for one or two teams (50% or 100%), to be determined.
► With your agile methodology expertise, you will support the further development of the agile teams.
► You will promote self-organization and the assumption of responsibility within the development teams in line with Agile values and principles.
► You will coach and support the Product Owner in fulfilling their role objectives.
► You will organize and moderate team meetings and Scrum events or Kanban.
► You will recognize and mediate conflicts within the teams and have experience in removing obstacles.
► Thanks to your high level of social competence, you approach people empathetically as a point of contact. This will help you build a broad network, motivate people, and promote exchange with other teams.
► You will create an environment of trust and safety within your team, where transparency is possible and problems can be uncovered and addressed without fear.
► You will assist in identifying and resolving obstacles, blockages, and their causes, and encourage the team to expand the solution space and try new things.
► You will collaborate with other Agile Masters to further develop the teams and the organization, for mutual support and development, as well as for knowledge exchange.
► Education You have successfully completed your studies in natural or engineering sciences such as computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field, and have profound experience in an agile environment.
► Personality and Working Style Confident demeanor, diplomatic, an active listener, a good observer, empathetic and fair, self-determined, structured, and you take the initiative in difficult situations; a good moderator.
► Experience and Know-how One to two years of experience as an Agile / Scrum Master with agile methods and Kanban; ideally, experience with SAFe and other frameworks for scaling agile methods; proficient use of tools like Jira, MS Teams, Miro, Confluence; experience with the workflows of distributed software development with GIT.
► Enthusiasm You are passionate about advancing and improving the team and the organization. You are not deterred by hurdles.
► Languages You have good German and English skills as well as strong communication abilities.
