Job Description

Team Function:

Primary Team Time Zone - US Central Time (CST) Team Structure - 1 Scrum Master (Houston), 2 Developers (Houston, India) Team is an Agile Development Team (Team Frogger) that operates within the agile release train ARTCade. Team Frogger develops and supports a variety of supporting applications for Claims Legal and general Claims support functions. Applications are reviewed and balanced across teams based on business needs plus team skillsets and capacity. Major Applications this team supports are: high volume claims document print processing outbound to customers, total loss packets, and primary claims legal management systems used by Farmers Legal organization end-users (attorneys, support staff). These applications are mostly front-end based (web app based), but the Print Fulfillment Center (PFC) application which is one of the primary targets of this role, is mostly back-end processes using windows services and .NET applications to process documents downstream for print and mailing.

agile development team member - performs daily development activities such as coding, configuration, debugging, defect fixes using Task & User Story & Feature concepts in agile. performs functions within the agile team such as agile ceremonies (meetings) for development planning and issue resolution supports DevOps processes through code base management using GIT, Jenkins, Sonar supports security and code quality by using tools such as Sonar, Dynatrace for scanning of code to ensure quality and no security flaws; resolves production security flaws supports production issues/outages ad hoc as needed maintains code base documentation and organization research, analysis, design processes within the team and supporting other agile teams on the train participates in scheduled meetings within the larger team follows best practices in development and works with Architecture in ensuring cohesive design
