The Agile Delivery Lead plays a vital role in Kubota Credit Corporation's Strategy/PMO organization, enabling effective Agile delivery across the SDLC, from Intake through to Delivery in coordination with Product, Data and IS teams.
This position combines strong Agile responsibilities with portfolio coordination to improve backlog quality, sprint execution, and visibility of work and outcomes. As an Agile subject matter expert, the Agile Delivery Lead facilitates ceremonies, removes impediments, and coaches teams to achieve their goals through strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
This role requires deep experience with Agile methodologies, hands-on Jira Cloud expertise, and the ability to leverage AI and modern tools to streamline SDLC workflows, sprint reporting, and metrics analysis freeing teams to focus on collaboration, problem solving, and value delivery. The role requires a proactive individual with a servant leader mentality who can build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and drive effective delivery in a manner that enhances team standards and portfolio visibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
• Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, reviews/demos, and retrospectives; ensure events are purposeful, time efficient, and outcome-oriented
• Partner with product owners to structure and maintain healthy backlogs with clear acceptance criteria and ready work
• Design, configure, and maintain Jira Cloud projects, boards, workflows, and dashboards; standardize usage and drive best practices
• Identify and remove impediments; coordinate with IS, other teams, and vendors to unblock work; escalate with clear context when needed
• Support product and IS capacity planning for the portfolio, partnering with product owners, Sr. Program Managers, and IS leadership to balance demand, capacity, and sequencing across initiatives
• Monitor team metrics (velocity, cycle time, throughput, quality); produce clear sprint/release reporting and support continuous improvement using data-informed insights
• Leverage AI and standard productivity tools to improve personal effectiveness and delivery outcomes including sprint reporting, metrics analysis, and other repeatable activities while maintaining clear ownership for the quality and accuracy of all materials
• Support safe, policy-compliant use of AI and data in day-to-day portfolio work, ensuring human judgment remains central to key decisions
• Provide Sr. Program Managers with clear, data-informed visibility into team progress, risks, and dependencies to support portfolio planning and executive reporting
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Business or related discipline required with 5 years professional experience.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
• Solid understanding of Scrum and Agile practices, including facilitation of core ceremonies and use of delivery metrics such as velocity, burndown, cycle time, and throughput.
• Hands-on Jira Cloud experience, including configuration, boards, workflows, dashboards, and reporting, plus familiarity with other work management tools such as Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and standard productivity tools to improve both personal effectiveness and team delivery.
• Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and practices.
• Excellent facilitation, listening, and communication skills, with a strong servant-leader mindset.
• Proven ability to manage multiple teams, priorities, and workstreams while promoting effective collaboration across diverse personality types.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills while maintaining high attention to detail in fast-changing, dynamic environment
• Proactive approach to identifying team needs, driving continuous improvement, and fostering psychological safety and a high performance team culture.
• Familiarity with risk management and governance requirements for tools and data in regulated environments.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, to permit the employee to function in a general office environment and accomplish tasks and duties as outlined above.
