Job Type: Fixed Term Contract 15 Months to December 2027

Location: Birmingham, Telford and Edinburgh. Hybrid working

The role

We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to support the delivery of strategic digital change across our digital platforms. This role will provide dedicated delivery management for digital channel change activity, helping to coordinate implementation, migration readiness, testing, service transition and warranty support across a complex transformation landscape.

You will act as the day to day Digital channel development team point of contact working closely with the Digital Business Delivery Lead and Digital channel Product Lead as well as other areas such as Technology, Software Engineering, InfoSec, third-party suppliers and business teams to ensure delivery activity is well planned, coordinated and controlled using Agile principles ensuring teams are aligned, obstacles are removed and value is delivery efficiently. The role requires strong Agile delivery discipline, excellent stakeholder management and the ability to drive outcomes across multiple teams, platforms and delivery phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising and guiding sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile processes to maintain focus and collaboration for digital change activity
  • Supporting software engineering change management, implementation planning and runbook creation and review
  • Coordinating transition issue support, service variance activity and implementation communications
  • Coordinating delivery of testing, including facilitating scoping, results analysis and approval, and support by third parties
  • Input into business and operational readiness activities including service design and transition activity for each channel
  • Coordinating release implementation activities
  • Coordinating third-party supplier activity
  • Providing delivery support for incident management, warranty activity and lessons learned

Key Deliverables:

  • Well coordinated digital implementation activity
  • Clear and controlled implementation runbooks, delivery plans and change management activity
  • Effective coordination of testing across digital, technology teams and third-party suppliers
  • Successful service readiness, service transition and operational acceptance for each impacted digital channel
  • Strong management of transition issues, service impacts, incidents and warranty support
  • Effective stakeholder engagement across Digital, programme, technology and supplier teams
  • Clear governance support for non-functional requirements, Field Observation, release readiness and post-implementation learning

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive agile delivery experience, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams, suppliers and workstreams across digital, technology or transformation environments
  • Experience supporting implementation planning, release readiness, runbook management and service transition.
  • Experience of coordinating software engineering change, test phases including penetration and performance testing, incident management and operational readiness.
  • Planning, facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate confidently across Digital, Technology, Operations, InfoSec and third-party supplier teams.
