Veovo is a market leader in Airport Smart Technology. With a global footprint of customers and capabilities that cover Airport Operations, Revenue management and Passenger Flow. Some of the world’s largest airports rely on Veovo.  Focused on driving airport performance, our solutions enable airports to handle more aircraft and more passengers, with less delays and less queues. Our platforms are built on a modern tech stack, often delivered from the cloud as SaaS and leveraging intelligence to enable our customer to “go brilliantly”.

Our clients span continents, but all share one thing in common: they’re big names in airport excellence, with even bigger digital goals. With offices in the UK, Poland, Denmark, New Zealand, India and the US, Veovo offers a world of opportunity

At Veovo we strive to deliver predictable collaborative solutions that are the platform of great airports.

By anchoring daily operations, managing utilization KPIs, and closely guiding the implementation team, they ensure the team operates efficiently while setting a strong foundation for long-term operational leadership and team mentorship.

The Specifics

  • Synchronize daily priorities, handoffs, and communication between the Aalborg and Pune offices to ensure a seamless, unified, delivery pipeline.
  • Take absolute ownership of all Agile processes, expertly facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned, unblocked, productive and continuously improving
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to align on sprint goals, autonomously coordinate smaller-scale projects, and balance complex milestones with the triage of ongoing support tickets.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for pune team delivery, people management, performance issues, resolving independently and escalating with context when required.
  • Act as the teams Jira tool owner including space configuration, designing workflows, configuring boards, dashboards, shared filters, automations and plans to ensure seamless tracking across all work streams. This role will also provide oversight of Jira data quality and drive its improvement.
  • Own decision making related to sprint commitments, capacity allocation, and work scheduling within agreed delivery framework.
  • Track and manage team KPIs (focusing on resource utilization, capacity, and sprint velocity) and translate this data into concrete process improvements that refine how the team operates. Additionally, provide analysis and stakeholder views of this data to aid wider decision making within the team and business.
  • Serve as the daily operational anchor, fostering a highly accountable environment by driving best-practice adoption and guiding local team dynamics.
  • Hold regular 1-on-1 touchpoints with individual team members to ensure process alignment, remove personal blockers, and support ongoing skills development.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the team, ensuring priorities are understood, decisions are made promptly, and delivery risks are actively managed.
  • Champion the onboarding of new team members into our delivery framework, ensuring they are quickly integrated into Jira workflows, KPIs, and local team norms.
  • Actively drive team engagement, morale, and psychological safety.

What we are looking for

  • 8 – 10 years of experience in Agile delivery, sprint coordination, technical project management, or 3 – 5 years in team management, specifically working with distributed or international teams.
  • Proven expertise as a Jira administrator or power user, with a detailed understanding of how to select, design, maintain and implement tool configuration. Includes projects/spaces, workflows boards, filters, dashboards, automations, plans and associated features for clean, well-structured, data. Exposure to a range of add-ons is also an advantage.
  • Strong facilitation skills with a track record of owning and running effective sprint ceremonies (planning, dailies, retrospectives) that drive actual results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage team KPIs, specifically resource utilization and capacity planning, and generate actionable delivery reports for leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan & coordinate smaller projects independently while working closely with PMs to balance strategic project work with unpredictable support ticket volumes.
  • Exceptional communication and peer-mentoring skills, with a natural ability to anchor daily operations, run meaningful 1-on-1s, guide implementation engineers, and build a strong, collaborative, culture.

What we offer in return

  • Working with innovative technologies in a small and ambitious team in a flat company structure
  • Rapid growth opportunities and structured professional training
  • Flexible working hours and remote work possible
  • Exciting and innovative projects in the aviation industry
