Job Description

Strategy & Growth | IMPACT AARHUS

The consultants who win pitches five years from now won't just know CRM, Martech and loyalty. They will be running an AI exo-skeleton or AI as a second brain around it. Do you want to help build that, from the inside, while you're still studying?

ABOUT THE JOB

As an Agentic Marketing Assistant, you will join the Strategy & Growth department, reporting to our Senior Manager, Customer Loyalty. This is not a traditional student assistant role. We are looking for what we call a "next-gen consultant", someone who treats AI not as a tool bolted onto the work, but as part of how the work gets done such as flows built in N8N, Claude used as a genuine thinking partner, prompts engineered rather than typed once and forgotten. However, you are not expected to arrive as an expert. What matters is curiosity, a genuine appetite for making AI part of how you work, and a willingness to explore how it can strengthen both your own consultancy and the value we create with our clients.

You will work across two connected worlds: learn how to establish a craft of loyalty concepts and design, personalisation tactics, CRM strategy and Martech advisory alongside the emerging discipline of agentic marketing, where CRM segmentation, lifecycle automation and personalization are increasingly run by autonomous agent workflows under human oversight. Your daily assignments will span:

Core CRM, loyalty & martech

  • Hands-on support on building brand loyalty in whatever form fits the client such as customer clubs, personalisation tactics, sign-up mechanics, value exchange models and beyond
  • Customer journey mappings & 1:1 channel flow schematics
  • Data collection, segmentation support and insight-gathering across CRM and CDP platforms
  • Supporting workshops, client presentations and market research

Agentic marketing, the new layer

  • Helping map current CRM, CDP and lifecycle workflows to spot manual handoffs and bottlenecks worth automating.
  • Assisting in structuring customer data, segmentation logic and lifecycle rules so marketing automation platforms can act on them with less manual intervention.
  • Supporting the drafting of instructions, guardrails and escalation logic for CRM and automation agent setups (think: an agent that adjusts send times, content or offers within rules a human has set).
  • Helping track and report on agent output such as flagging anomalies, quality drift or anything that needs a human to step in.
  • Bringing a fresh, structured perspective as our consultants build human-in-the-loop governance models for AI driven CRM and lifecycle journeys.

The position is 15 hours a week with the possibility of more. You will get a genuine mix of hands-on craft and exposure to where the industry is going next, with a large degree of freedom under responsibility, and real sparring from experienced consultants along the way.

YOUR PROFILE

You have some degree of experience within Martech, Marketing, Data or a related field, from a prior student job or from your current education. You are someone who reads about a new AI marketing tool, builds your own agentic workflows and wants to understand how it actually gets implemented, not just what it promises.

Additionally, we expect you to

  • Be a student pursuing a degree in IT & Kommunikation (ITKO), Datalogi/Data Science, Digital Konceptudvikling, Business Intelligence, HA(it.)/cand.merc.(it.), or a related field where tech and communication meet.
  • Be genuinely curious about customer experience, CRM, Martech, loyalty and how AI is reshaping how brands operate with an eagerness to learn the mechanics behind it, not just the buzzwords.
  • Have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be comfortable moving between a workflow diagram and concepting initiatives with an equally interest in the logic behind a system and the idea that makes a customer feel valued Have some familiarity with analytical tools (GA4, etc.) - appreciated, not required.
  • Have interest or hands on experience with N8N, Make, prompt engineering or similar a valuable asset.
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity, agentic marketing is a moving target, and we are figuring parts of it out together with our clients.
