Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Agentic AI Data Engineer to help build intelligent data platforms and AI-driven solutions that support business decision-making. This role combines data engineering, cloud technologies, and modern AI capabilities to create scalable systems that automate processes and enable advanced analytics.

Base Compensation Range: 100,000 - 150,000

The posted range is the hiring range for this role — a subset of the broader range available to employees over time — and reflects base salary across our national hiring scale. Final offers are based on several factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, internal pay equity, work location, market conditions for the role, and the specific scope and responsibilities of the position. The top of the range is reserved for candidates who notably exceed the requirements; the lower end applies to those with less experience or fewer preferred qualifications. For positions based in higher-cost zones (e.g., California, New York, New Jersey), actual compensation may exceed the posted range; your recruiter will share specifics during the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Build and support cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses.
• Assist in the development and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions.
• Work with modern AI frameworks and Large Language Model (LLM) applications.
• Develop APIs and services that integrate AI capabilities into business applications.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and governance across data platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and engineering teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of intelligent automation solutions.

Required Skills

Data Engineering

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Good understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Familiarity with batch and real-time data processing.

Cloud & Data Platforms

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Exposure to cloud storage, data integration, and analytics services.
• Understanding of modern data lake or data warehouse concepts.

AI & Analytics

• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and Generative AI applications.
• Familiarity with LLM-based solutions and retrieval-based architectures is an advantage.
• Exposure to AI orchestration frameworks or intelligent workflow automation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on data modernization or AI initiatives.
• Exposure to RAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of MLOps or LLMOps concepts.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or AI/ML Engineering.
• Experience delivering enterprise data or AI solutions is preferred.
