What You Will Do
- Design, build, and enhance core AI agent infrastructure to support real-time, omnichannel customer interactions at scale.
- Develop systems that empower non-technical users to configure agent behavior through natural language while ensuring engineering teams maintain control over the underlying code.
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate with product, design, and customer experience teams to translate complex requirements into robust and scalable software solutions.
- Define and evolve engineering best practices as the team and product advance, ensuring high standards of reliability and performance.
- Work on systems where reliability and low latency are critical, ensuring consistent performance of AI agents in production environments.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 2 to 6 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems.
- Proven expertise in Python, with a solid understanding of system design, data structures, and clean code principles.
- Experience developing customer-facing products where user experience, reliability, and performance are key priorities.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and contributing effectively in fast-paced, high-velocity environments.
- Genuine interest in AI and large language models, with a desire to work on innovative agentic systems.
Preferred
- Experience building or integrating LLM-based products or workflows involving agentic systems.
- Familiarity with omnichannel communication infrastructure, including chat, email, and voice platforms.
- Background in early-stage or high-growth startups, demonstrating broad scope and ownership in projects.
- Previous work in developer tools, platform products, or enterprise SaaS environments.
Compensation and Benefits
