The Impact you will have in this role:
Asset Servicing Operations (ASO) organization within Enterprise Services sits at the center of the capital markets, supporting securities throughout their lifecycle – from eligibility and onboarding through the announcement and processing of corporate action events. ASO operates through an integrated model, serving as a trusted connection point between issuers, agents, and market participants.
This role will lead a newly established Agent and Issuer Services Engagement function within Asset Servicing Operations, providing centralized ownership of agent and issuer-facing services.
Effective processing of corporate actions and other securities lifecycle events depends on close collaboration between DTC and the issuers, and agents representing securities. As critical market participants, agents and issuers provide the information, instructions, and engagement needed to support accurate processing through DTCC's infrastructure and connect issuers, investors, market participants, and DTC. This role will establish the engagement framework and drive accountability across agent and issuer relationships, ensuring agents are equipped, informed, and aligned to support DTCC's strategic priorities. By strengthening collaboration, transparency, and engagement with agents and issuers, we can improve service delivery and stakeholder outcomes across the capital markets.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Establish and lead the Agent & Issuer Services and Engagement function, setting the strategy, operating model, and engagement framework for agent and issuer relationships across Asset Servicing Operations, in alignment with ASO priorities and enterprise objectives.
  • Drive the agent engagement strategy, strengthening transparency, communication, and collaboration with agents and issuers.
  • Serve as the primary point of engagement for agent and issuer-related matters, building and maintaining relationships that support consistent service delivery and effective issue resolution.
  • Partner with Corporate Actions business units across all event types to ensure agent activity aligns with how ASO delivers solutions, identifying and addressing gaps in the end-to-end service model.
  • Serve as the voice of agents and issuers within ASO, bringing insights back into the organization to inform priorities and service improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and stakeholder outcomes through strengthened engagement practices.
  • Define how success is measured for the function, establishing accountability for results and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the function in internal and external forums, including discussions with senior stakeholders, industry participants, and regulatory bodies, as required.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team aligned to the needs of the function, defining the roles, responsibilities, and capabilities required to support the model.
  • Connect strategic priorities to financial outcomes by managing resources effectively and supporting budget planning aligned to business needs.
  • Champion a culture of regulatory awareness and risk management across agent and issuer interactions, ensuring adherence to established policies, controls, and industry obligations.
  • NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.
  • Fosters a risk management culture through implementation and demonstration of processes and procedures which identify and mitigate risk
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
  • Sets a clear-sighted vision for the organization’s future and builds motivation and commitment to achieving it through tangible actions.
  • Shapes the opinions of key decision-makers and senior leaders by presenting persuasive arguments and alternative approaches.
  • Builds and sustains trusted relationships with external partners and senior stakeholders; navigates complex, multi-party dynamics to drive shared outcomes.
  • Influences without direct authority, balancing partnership with accountability in external relationships.
  • Quickly develops command of new business domains, applying relationship and stakeholder management experience to unfamiliar landscapes.
