The Nikolai Jump Agency is looking for a motivated, people-focused Agent in Training to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, building relationships, and working toward goals and wants more than just another job.

You do not need previous insurance experience to be successful here. If you have a background in sales, customer service, retail, automotive, banking, hospitality, or another client-facing environment, we can provide the training and support to help you transition into insurance and build a long-term career.

What You’ll Do

As an Agent in Training, you’ll learn the insurance business while developing the sales and relationship-building skills needed to grow within the industry.

• Connect with prospective clients through leads, referrals, outbound calls, networking, and follow-up

• Ask the right questions to understand each client’s needs and recommend appropriate coverage

• Sell and cross-sell Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance products

• Build lasting client relationships through consistent communication and excellent service

• Follow up with prospects and existing clients to identify additional opportunities

• Work toward individual sales goals while contributing to overall agency growth

• Manage leads, client activity, and follow-ups through CRM systems

• Participate in ongoing sales coaching, product training, and team development

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is motivated to learn, comfortable talking to people, and excited by the opportunity to grow their career and earning potential.

• 1+ year of sales, customer service, or other client-facing experience preferred

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations

• Goal-oriented and motivated by results

• Resilient and able to move forward after hearing "no"

• Coachable and willing to learn new sales strategies

• Organized, dependable, and able to manage consistent follow-up

• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
