About the Role
TikTok is seeking an Agency Pod Lead to support our organization in the São Paulo office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling cross-network solutions and a proven ability to engage and influence executive-level agency contacts, driving new business opportunities. They should also have experience working with executive stakeholders across Social, Video, Mobile, and Digital teams. Scaling agency investment successfully is a crucial requirement for this role.
Above all, the candidate should have a demonstrated track record of cultivating strong relationships with key agency executives. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with members of the TikTok sales organization to onboard priority accounts and transition agency partners from a vendor to a strategic partner status. You'll bring a creative mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and strategic acumen to establish and foster long-term business partnerships with agency partners.
In this role, the candidate will lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve individual and team goals. Also, will conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development with the goal of fostering a collaborative and positive team culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities;
- Drive revenue for TikTok by seeking and growing relationships across various agency teams, going beyond the media team, and being able to establish these connections with account services, creative, social, planning and data teams;
- Lead strategy and negotiation across the full spectrum of agencies including Big Six, Mega Indies, Indies, and performance-driven agencies, tailoring approaches to each segment's unique characteristics and needs;
- Lead and optimize sales processes, implementing proven methodologies and dynamics to maximize team performance and results;
- Drive product adoption aligned with TikTok's current and future offerings;
- Use a consultative approach by offering strategic media solutions to all clients, positioning TikTok as a full funnel platform;
- Create a successful strategy in leading scalable and 1:many initiatives to drive growth and agency development at scale;
- Create compelling sales propositions utilizing internal and external data for respective regions;
- Liaise with cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives;
- Create a rhythm of the business with excellence in execution, including activities such as quota setting, forecasting, pipeline and sales metrics hygiene;
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services;
- Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies;
- Ensure that our agency partners receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service;
- Lead and create strategies to develop and educate agency ecosystems towards TikTok;
- Contribute to lead and create programs for agencies that will drive long-term growth for TikTok.
