About the role

We are looking for an Agency Operations Specialist to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As an Agency Operations Specialist, you will support efficient, effective and client-focused delivery of agency products and services across the Elders network. Working closely with network and corporate business units, you will maintain commission rates, process settlements and livestock levies, and manage livestock carriers. You will also develop and maintain procedures, deliver reporting and analysis, support branch technology solutions, and provide general operational support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain livestock commission rates, charges, and carrier records
  • Process livestock transaction updates and manage data maintenance workflows
  • Develop, document, and maintain processes and procedures
  • Produce reporting and insights on agency products and services
  • Support branch technology solutions and assist staff with agency systems and tools
  • Manage company agent lifecycle activities, including onboarding, updates, and closures
  • Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Build strong working relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver cost-effective solutions

About you

  • Agricultural or related industry experience, with exposure to sales or agency environments
  • Knowledge of agency products and services, with strong customer focus across internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven problem-solving ability, with a practical and analytical approach
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with AS400 and SaleG8 (desirable)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance, or data (desirable)
  • Current driver’s licence and Q-Fever vaccination (or proof of immunity)
