Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-driven professional to join our Client Reporting Team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, producing, validating, and delivering high-quality client reports that meet service level agreements (SLAs) and exceed client expectations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex data, driving process improvements, managing stakeholder relationships, and contributing to a high-performing operational environment. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, relationship managers, and clients while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and operational excellence in all reporting activities.

The team you will be joining is part of Markets Operations, supporting State Street's Financing Solutions for Securities Finance businesses. Markets Operations plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and controlled execution of client servicing, operational processes, reporting, and risk management activities across global markets.

As a member of the Client Reporting team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting solutions to both internal and external clients, ensuring regulatory, contractual, and client-specific requirements are met. You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Product Teams, Technology, and Operations partners to provide accurate and insightful reporting that supports our clients' business objectives.

This role offers excellent exposure to Securities Finance products, operational risk management, client engagement, and process improvement initiatives within a global financial institution. What you will be responsible for:

  • Produce, review, and distribute recurring and ad-hoc reports for internal and external clients. Ensure all reporting deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timelines and SLAs. Perform report creation (Maker) and validation/checker responsibilities in accordance with established control procedures.
  • Respond to client, Relationship Manager (RM), and management inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Work as the escalation point for the team when necessary
  • Manage new reporting requests and change initiatives from clients and RMs.
  • Maintain a strong focus on operational risk management and control effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance client experience.
  • Support team leaders in managing workloads and ensuring timely client deliverables.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • University degree
  • More than 5 years’ experience from a financial service environment
  • Experience in client reporting, operations, middle office, or post-trade services within a financial services environment is advantageous.
  • People management experience a plus
  • Proficient in using Excel
