• Lead to drive the development and publication on time and with high quality of Color & Trim Product Definition Letters (PDLs) within Ford’s systems and processes.

• Provide lead interface in Australia and work collaboratively with the wider T6 Studio, Program Management, Engineering, Paint VOME, and Cross Functional teams located in multiple regions to ensure program attributes and a clear, consistent understanding of Color & Trim design direction across all programs.

• Review Change Request Forms (CRFs) for consistency and conduct detailed impact analyses on Color & Trim PDLs.

• Engage with PDL customers and stakeholders, providing cross-functional support to resolve Color & Trim PDL issues and ensure alignment across all parties.

• Advocate the PDL change and control process, and where required support the teams to deliver in line with PDL process requirements.

• Coordinate and audit product Color & Trim PDLs to ensure they achieve program objectives and, where required, coach the team to ensure robust and timely program delivery.

Skills Required:

• Strong planning skills and ability to influence team processes and decisions

• Attention to detail and agility in managing changes with strong self-motivation

• Strong negotiation skills across levels and departments

• Appreciation and interest in the complexities of program delivery across multiple regions with multiple launch locations

• Experience Required:

• Understanding of project control, time management, prioritisation, and demonstrated drive for data accuracy and integrity

• Awareness of and interest in cultural and language barriers, diversity of skills, and practical/physical challenges associated with working in developing markets

• Experience Preferred:

• Previous AP or global program experience preferred

• Candidate should be comfortable with potential travel and flexible work hours due to time zone differences between markets

Qualifications

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
