We’re looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our team in the Fairfield West,
Mount Pritchard and Canley Heights area, supporting older people through a mix of personal care, domestic assistance, and social support.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent hours (approx. 15 hours per week) across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Language skills are highly regarded (especially Spanish), along with Arabic, Italian or Vietnamese, but are not essential.

About the Role
This role focuses on supporting older people to remain living safely and independently at home while staying connected to their community.
Your day may include:
•Providing personal care including showering, dressing, and hygiene support
•Assisting with domestic assistance such as light cleaning, laundry, and basic household tasks
•Providing social support including companionship and community access
•Supporting clients to attend appointments or activities
•Building genuine, respectful relationships with clients
What You Bring
•A genuine passion for supporting older people
•A caring, respectful, and reliable approach
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Experience in personal care
•Willingness to support or learn domestic assistance tasks
•Ability to work independently in the community
Essential Requirements
•Current NSW Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
•Experience providing personal care
•Current First Aid & CPR
•National Police Check & Working With Children Check
•Proof of working rights in Australia
•Smartphone for rostering
Languages Highly Regarded (Current Priority Areas)
•Spanish (priority)
•Arabic
•Italian
•Vietnamese
Desirable (but not essential)
•Qualification in Aged Care or Community Services (Cert III or above)
•Experience across Personal Care, Domestic Assistance and Social Support roles

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
