As an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant you will provide personalised home care support to older Australians in the Bega area, supporting them in their own homes for following hospital stays or medical procedures.
You will travel between multiple clients homes within a 30 minute radius of Bega and surrounding suburbs, so ability to travel is essential (you will be reimbursed $1.01 per KM travelled while you are working).
We have casual opportunities available with shifts offered throughout the week so applicants must be available to work across a flexible range of daytime shifts times.
Please note, shifts are paid at a minimum of two hours however historically have extended to up to 30 hours per fortnight (depending on the volume and needs of the clients).
Successful candidates will be required to undertake relevant pre-employment checks to ensure the safety of our clients. This includes a National Criminal History Record Check and an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
