Make a Difference: Full-Time Facility Cleaner for a Premium Aged Care Facility

Challenger Services Group is seeking a reliable and compassionate Full-Time Facility Cleaner to join our team in South Hurstville, NSW. Working within a premium aged care environment, you'll play an important role in supporting the comfort, dignity, health, and wellbeing of residents through the delivery of high-quality cleaning services.

This is more than just a cleaning role. Your contribution helps create a safe, hygienic, and welcoming home for elderly residents while being part of a supportive team that values care, respect, and excellence.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

Location: South Hurstville, NSW

What You'll Be Doing

As a Facility Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment throughout resident, communal, and staff areas.
• Supporting the daily comfort and wellbeing of elderly residents through high-quality cleaning services.
• Completing routine and detailed cleaning tasks in accordance with cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Conducting regular sanitisation of high-touch surfaces to support infection control measures.
• Managing waste collection, disposal, and replenishment of consumables.
• Following all workplace health, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Working independently and collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive team.

About You

You'll be someone who:

• Takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Has previous cleaning, housekeeping, or facility services experience (preferred but not essential).
• Understands safe cleaning practices, chemical handling, and infection control procedures.
• Has a genuine desire to contribute to a caring environment for elderly residents.
• Is reliable, organised, and able to manage their time effectively.
• Has strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Holds a valid Police Check or is willing to obtain one.
• Holds an NDIS Worker Check or is willing to obtain one (Mandatory).
• Has received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations and a current Influenza vaccination (Mandatory).
