The role!

This is a flexible leadership opportunity, available full time or part time across four days, with hybrid working across our South Melbourne office, home, and the field. As Team Lead, you will combine your clinical experience with a genuine passion for developing people. You will guide and support a team of assessors to deliver high-quality assessments, while fostering confidence, capability, and care across the team.

This is a hands-on leadership role that blends clinical expertise with team development. You’ll guide a team of assessors conducting comprehensive and home support assessments, ensuring consistent, high-quality services are delivered. With a focus on mentoring, upholding clinical standards, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement, you’ll ensure evolving client needs are met with confidence, care, and professionalism.

You responsibilities will include;

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical assessors.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Ensure high-quality, consistent service delivery across all assessment locations.
  • Support performance reviews, training, and onboarding of new clinicians.
  • Uphold clinical governance by monitoring standards and addressing performance gaps.
  • Facilitate mentoring, recognition initiatives, and career development pathways.
  • Be a trusted point of contact for clinicians, addressing concerns and promoting wellbeing.
  • Conduct onsite shadowing and assist in rolling out professional development programs.

About you!

  • Proven experience conducting Comprehensive and/or Home Support Assessments
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical leadership or supervisory role, with a focus on team performance, mentoring, and service delivery.
  • Degree qualification in a health-related field (e.g. Nursing, Physiotherapy, Social Work).
  • AHPRA registration or membership with a relevant professional body.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse communities and stakeholders.
