Prairie Co-op is hiring a Full Time Ag Sales Representative at our Ag Site located is Lipton, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:

Responsible to provide an exceptional level of customer service, maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.

  • May scout customer fields and assist in providing chemical and fertilizer recommendations.
  • May assist in billing and computer entry as required.
  • Will be required to operate the fertilizer plant.
  • Will be responsible for delivering Ag products to customers and responsible for following all safety policies and procedures when loading and unloading products. The Agronomy Summer Student will be responsible for operating a forklift as required in order to transfer products according to customer and company needs. May load and unload customer purchases and returns as required.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties (spills, display fixtures, washrooms, etc.) to ensure all areas of responsibility are safe, organized, clean, and tidy. Responsible for keeping the sales floor and back stock area clean of cardboard and debris including the disposal of garbage. Assist with regular clean up duties to ensure an efficient, safe, and clean location is maintained.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Agriculture and:

  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Able to lift, pull, or push up to 50lbs.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required.
  • Required to have a Forklift License or willing to obtain.
  • You are available to work a variety of shifts.
  • You’re honest, trustworthy, results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
