Job Category: TransportationPremier Cooperative is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Ag Commodities Driver to support our New Albin location. This role is responsible for transporting agricultural commodities while delivering excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport feed and grain commodities, including corn, fertilizer, and other agricultural inputs
- Deliver bulk and bagged feed to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Operate hopper bottom trailers and feed trucks efficiently
- Assist with loading and unloading products as needed
- Complete and maintain accurate delivery tickets and documentation
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic equipment maintenance
- Communicate with team members on schedules, routes, and logistics
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations
- Operate vehicles safely and comply with all traffic laws
- Prevent product contamination and ensure load integrity
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized equipment and work areas
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required or willing to obtain
- Clean driving record and ability to remain insurable
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous agricultural or hauling experience preferred
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to grain, dust, and agricultural environments
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons (planting & harvest)
