About the Role:Join Aladdin's Castle Learning Center as an Afterschool Teacher, where you will inspire and engage children in a fun and nurturing environment. This role is perfect for someone that like to work with older children and is young enough to have fun on fieldtrips and other fun activities. We are looking for those who are passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of young learners.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging afterschool activities and lessons.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children during program hours.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
• Assist with homework and provide academic support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Collaborate with other staff to create a cohesive learning experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Background check clearance required.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate afterschool hours.

Compensation: $13.00 per hour
