We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Aftersales department as an Aftersales Technical Support Engineer!

The Aftersales Technical team strive to deliver exceptional technical support and rapid resolution of air conditioning issues across the installed base. The team provide end‑to‑end post‑installation experience, from triage via telephone, through on‑site breakdown response and root cause diagnostics, to corrective actions. The team provide a nationwide service to support our customers whenever possible.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing onsite and remote technical support, including system commissioning, fault finding and system diagnosis across the UK & Ireland.
  • Acting as a key communication link between customers, site engineers and Hitachi teams.
  • Working closely with Sales and internal teams to support workflows and business needs.
  • Delivering customer training both onsite and at the Maidenhead Training Centre, including presentations and hands‑on demos.
  • Assessing new spares and warranty claims in line with company processes.

Qualifications

Education requirements:

  • Proven HVAC experience
  • NVQ Level 2 - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
  • NVQ Level 3 - Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
  • Safe Handling of Refrigerant.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving ability.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Comfortable presenting and delivering training to varied audiences.
  • Hands‑on approach with a willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland.
  • Organised, detail‑focused and able to follow established processes.
