Job Description

POSITION’S MISSION:

  • Elaborate, develop, and implement strategies and tactical plans to identify and increase the After-Sales business, with focus on Parts (GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco) and Accessories, improve customer retention, market penetration (wholesale), and customer satisfaction, while always looking for better profitability for GM and the Dealer Network.
  • Incentive, coordinate and follow-up on innovative ideas/projects/changes to improve Aftersales businesses.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a diverse group of people focused on commercial relationship with dealer network.
  • Design and execute the restructuring plan of the Dealer Network, with the regional office, Dealer equalization, Parts Distributors, and Automotive Centers, according to the potential market in the region.
  • Connect to all involved players to assure main goals achievement (Regional Offices, SCWL, Product, Accessories, Finance, and other teams).
  • Responsible for negotiations and achievement of Parts and Accessories objectives, focusing on GM and Network profitability.
  • Provide leadership and support in the implementation of Service projects and initiatives, Automotive Centers, Parts Wholesalers, Digital Sales (e-Commerce), and New Channels.
  • Support the aftersales communication plan in the dealership network, with the participation of COPVs, GNPVs & GROs.
  • Analyze Dealer Network financial situation and develop strategies to leverage dealership sales/profit in the aftersales area.
  • Monitor parts and accessories inventory in the dealers & distributors and develop divisional actions to maintain the Day Supply according to targets.
  • Develop and implement divisional action plans to increase sell-out sales, IRC (customer retention index), and NPs.
  • Monitor and support the Franchise Meeting of dealerships and Distributors of the Division.
  • Drive Sales and Aftersales objective attainment for the zone
    Encourage and support engagement efforts
  • Drive communication that supports the Business's market plans
  • Mentor, manage and grow talent
  • Coordinate dealer contractual agreements; ensure compliance to retail & parts sales performance, customer happiness and dealer profitability
  • Ensure accurate utilization of empowerment tools
    am/customers to attain business goals
  • Performs other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Commercial experience

  • Proficiency in English (B2 minimum, C1/C2 preferrable)
  • Graduation on business, finance or engineering is desirable, not a limitation.
  • Previous automotive business knowledge
  • Availability for traveling.
