Afternoon Preschool Teacher (Part-Time, EEC Certified)
Location: The Learning Experience – Dedham, MA
Schedule: Part-Time | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Pay: $22–$23 per hour

The Learning Experience – Dedham is seeking an EEC-certified Afternoon Preschool Teacher to support our classrooms during the late-day program. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who enjoys guiding preschool-aged children through structured transitions, enrichment activities, and end-of-day routines.

Responsibilities

• Support preschool classrooms during afternoon learning and transitions
• Implement engaging activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment
• Guide children through centers, dismissal routines, and end-of-day activities
• Communicate positively with families during pickup
• Partner with teaching teams to maintain classroom consistency and quality
• Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing standards

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC certification (Infant/Toddler and Preschool qualified) required
• Experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred
• Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
• Reliable and comfortable supporting afternoon classroom transitions
