As a key member of the Aftermarket Sales team, the Sales Representative plays a critical role in supporting technical sales initiatives, driving aftermarket growth, and translating customer requirements into accurate product solutions. This role requires strong product knowledge, an ability to interpret technical data, and a customer‑focused approach to solving complex support needs.
What you’ll be doing as a Sales Representative
·Achieve the sales objectives outlined in the annual Bell Aftermarket Sales operating plan and drive consistent sales growth across assigned Bell customer accounts through technically informed product recommendations.
·Interpret customer specifications, maintenance requirements, and aircraft configuration data to recommend correct aftermarket parts and solutions as well as maintain accurate, high‑quality sales funnel data to support forecasting and leadership reporting.
·Continuously improve customer proposal response times through efficient evaluation of technical requirements and coordinated internal communication.
·Manage and execute targeted inventory sales campaigns based on fleet data, product applicability, and customer operating environments.
·Identify, pursue, and convert upsell and targeted sales opportunities by leveraging technical product knowledge.
·Handle customer calls; monitor backlog; prepare technically accurate quotations; process orders; and ensure data integrity throughout the order lifecycle.
·Track customer order delivery dates and communicate updates to production support teams as needed as well as assist customers in determining product attributes, applicability, lead times, and contract requirements using technical data sources and system records.
·Manage customer master data in Salesforce (SFDC) and SAP ERP as well as maintain and update sales opportunities in SFDC.
·Report weekly sales funnel KPIs with attention to technical sales pipeline accuracy and support Aftermarket Sales Managers and Business Development teams in assembling complex, technically detailed proposals and sales packages.
·Coordinate the distribution of marketing and promotional materials for trade shows and events with a focus on technical product messaging.
·Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
Skills You Bring To this Role
·Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or other related field.
·2+ years of experience with sales, business development, marketing and/or other customer support role.
·Ability to travel up to 40% for onsite customer visits and trade shows.
·Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
·Aviation industry experience preferred.
·Familiarity with SAP ECC and Salesforce (SFDC) preferred.
·Knowledge of Aeronautical Accessories products, Bell Aftermarket products, and Bell helicopter services preferred.
·Strong self‑management and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse, enthusiastic teams who share a passion for flight.
Physical Requirements
·Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or participating in meetings.
·Ability to lift and carry up to 25–30 pounds (such as marketing materials or equipment for trade shows).
·Ability to travel frequently via commercial or general aviation aircraft.
·Ability to work in office, conference, customer facility, or trade show environments.
·Ability to use standard office equipment and computer systems.
·80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)
