What you’ll do:

"The AFM Supplier Development Manager supports the execution of the APAC aftermarket business strategy by working closely with global and regional suppliers to ensure products meet quality, delivery, and specification requirements at competitive total cost.

The role is responsible for supplier development, sourcing support, pricing alignment, and category execution, while identifying new suppliers, analyzing trends, and improving processes that drive functional excellence, profitability, and business growth"

"1. Support the development and execution of the APAC aftermarket supplier and category strategy in alignment with regional business priorities.
2. Act as the category buyer for the assigned scope, identifying sourcing solutions that balance cost, quality, delivery, and business requirements.
3. Manage negotiations with internal and external suppliers, resolve issues and disputes effectively, and build constructive, long-term supplier relationships.
4. Identify, assess, and develop new suppliers to support business growth, supply continuity, and competitive sourcing strategies.
5. Lead supplier development activities to improve supplier capability, product quality, delivery reliability, and cost competitiveness.
6. Drive cost-out initiatives in partnership with operational and functional teams to improve profitability and business performance.
7. Support portfolio and category analysis to identify opportunities for margin improvement, supply optimization, and profitable growth.
8. Prepare reports, analyses, and business updates to support decision-making by the Aftermarket business team.
9. Establish, manage, and improve processes that strengthen functional excellence, execution discipline, and operational efficiency.
10. Support pricing execution and supplier readiness to enable business footprint expansion and regional growth.
11. Manage category-related capital expenditure within the assigned scope, where applicable."

Qualifications:

"• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional supply chain certification, such as CPM or CPIM, is preferred.
• Master of Business Administration or a master’s degree in Supply Chain or a related discipline is preferred."

Skills:

"• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in automotive category management, procurement, supplier development, or a related supply chain function; alternatively, 7+ years of experience in automotive supply chain, operations, or manufacturing support roles.
• Experience supporting regional or cross-functional business execution within a matrix environment.
• Negotiation experience in a regional or global business environment is preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities, business units, or regional supply networks is preferred."

"• Strong background in direct material purchasing, sourcing, or supplier development.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing or supplier development processes relevant to automotive components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, prints, and specifications.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as forging, powder metal, cold forming, spring, extrusion, or similar processes.
• Understanding of Production Part Approval Process tools and related quality methods, including measurement systems and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Financial acumen, including the ability to read and interpret profit and loss statements and understand key cost drivers.
• Proficiency in English."

"• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, suppliers, operations, and supply chain teams.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with a fact-based and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to drive supplier improvement, organizational change, and cost-out initiatives across impacted regions and businesses.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget."

Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
