Works on the aftermarket planning team to provide support for Textron Aviation’s global service center network, responsible for the successful execution of aftermarket modification and scheduled maintenance through the effective planning and coordination of information, materials, and processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Estimates time and material standards to support interior refurbishment and modification inquiries.
·Works with cross-functional personnel to analyze and solve modification and service flow issues stemming from sequence of work, balance of tasks, tooling/equipment constraints, and manpower allocation/training.
·Interacts effectively with external departments and internal team members to ensure successful completion of interior refurbishment and modification projects.
·Performs special assignments as required.
·Issue’s PO’s (purchase orders) and SAO (Supplemental Aircraft Orders) as needed.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
·Bachelor’s degree required in a technical or business related field
oIn lieu of Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of professional work experience in related aircraft maintenance or troubleshooting field or an A&P License + 3 years of aircraft maintenance or troubleshooting experience required
QUALIFICATIONS:
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Good understanding in the operations of standard office equipment and Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
·Ability to work well with engineering documents and Parts ordering systems including: EEDS, SAP, Lawson and CEDARS.
·Possesses good organization and time management skills
·Attention to detail, goal oriented
·Ability to prioritize and manage time sensitive responsibilities
·Highly motivated
·Ability to work in team environment
·Maintenance experience preferred
·Aircraft maintenance and/or manufacturing experience preferred
