Aftermarket Operations manager

📍Coleambally NSW

As our Aftermarket Operations manager, you will be reporting to our Finley Branch manager to oversee the daily operations of our parts and service department in Coleambally. Be responsible for fostering a good culture, get involved with future initiatives and driving growth across our Coleambally Branch. Supporting an established team of qualified technicians, parts interpreters and apprentices!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the Branch Manager with the daily operational activities of the Parts and Service departments.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback to the Branch Manager and team members, including insights on aftermarket sales, productivity and efficiency, and recommend improvement plans as needed.
• Conduct weekly Toolbox meetings for Parts and Service teams
• Provide leadership, mentorship and coaching to the Service and Parts team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Attend weekly Branch meetings to remain informed of branch priorities and sales targets.
• Act as the first point of escalation for Parts and Service customer complaints or concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Foster clear and consistent communication across all aftermarket departments

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in leadership within parts or service operations or a comparable field experience
• Experience managing escalated or complex customer concerns
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams to achieve high performance and engagement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to implement operational policies and processes, and drive adherence across teams.
• Solid understanding of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) principles and experience in promoting a strong safety culture.
• Knowledge of John Deere equipment is a plus!
