About the Role
IPCO US LLC is seeking a hands-on, customer-focused Aftermarket Engineer to serve as a technical liaison between our company and customers. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined engineer with strong process engineering experience who enjoys travel, customer interaction, and solving real-world equipment challenges.
You will work closely with customers to optimize equipment performance, support spare parts sales, assist with new installations, and provide technical training, both on-site and in-house.
Key Responsibilities
Travel up to 50–75% to customer sites to support equipment optimization and aftermarket services
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive future sales opportunities
Review spare parts inventories and identify opportunities to increase aftermarket sales
Provide technical support to inside sales, design engineers, and sub-suppliers during quoting and order entry
Collect and evaluate process data for design, scale-up, and performance improvement
Support startup and commissioning of new and rental equipment, including extended on-site assignments
Deliver hands-on technical training to customers and IPCO colleagues
Generate visit reports and maintain accurate records in IPCO’s CRM
Participate fully in quality, health, safety, and environmental programs
Assist sales engineers and belt technicians during customer visits as needed
Qualifications
Engineering degree preferred; 1–3 years of relevant experience accepted
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on equipment experience
Solid understanding of process engineering principles, including mechanical design, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering manuals
Comfortable performing technical calculations and problem-solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in industrial environments
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around mechanical equipment
Willingness to travel extensively, drive rental cars, and fly commercially
Ability to meet customer safety requirements, including drug testing and respirator use
