PRINCIPALS/DIRECTORS WILL POST IN OFFICE AREAS UPON RECEIPT

DATE: 9/24/2026

POSITION: After School Tutor Teacher at Wirt County Middle School

TERM: School Year 2026-2027 to end April 30, 2027

CONTRACT: Salary - $30/hour

Time - Up to 4 hours per week

Schedule - After school beginning at 3:30, Monday - Thursday

Limitations - contract based on student attendance

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Valid WV professional teaching certification
2. Ability to analyze student data in order to develop an individualized/group instructional program
3. Effective behavior management skills
4. Preference given to teachers with intervention/special education experience
5. Preference given to teachers with middle school experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be willing to develop instructional activities that meets the needs of targeted students
• Must be willing to utilize multiple data sources to determine student groups
• Work with grade level teachers and administration to target student needs
• Maintain and report student progress records
