What would you be doing?

  • Provide safe environment for learning
  • Implement Curriculum for a variety of enrichment classes
  • Establish good rapport with parents and participants
  • Being a positive role model for youth in the program
  • Collaborate with volunteers to lead delegation
  • Transport equipment to and from school sites

Requirements

· Must pass YMCA background check

· Availability Mon-Thursday between 2:30-5:30pm

· Possess (or obtain within 90 days) a current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification

· Experience working with children in a classroom setting

· Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation

· Ability to adequately observe participant activities, enforce safety regulations and apply appropriate management techniques

· Must have reliable transportation
