Job Purpose
The After-School Cook is responsible for preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals and/or snacks for students participating in the after-school program. The employee will follow all applicable food safety, sanitation, and child nutrition requirements.
Work Schedule
This position will work two (2) days per week, Monday and Wednesday, for two (2) hours per day, for a total of four (4) hours per week, during the operation of the after-school program.
The work schedule may be adjusted when necessary due to school closures, holidays, program cancellations, or other operational needs.
The employee must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, lift, carry, and safely operate standard food-service equipment. The employee may be required to lift food, supplies, or equipment consistent with the physical requirements of a school food-service position.
