Become an After School Educator with HOKALI!

Are you ready to turn your passion for working with students into purpose? HOKALI, a Y Combinator–backed leader in after-school programs, is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated educators to join our community in Lancaster, CA. We partner with over 200 schools across the U.S., creating enriching after-school experiences that help students grow, explore new interests, and build confidence.

What you’ll do:

• Lead engaging and structured after-school sessions.
• Create a positive, supportive, and fun learning environment.
• Support students during after-care hours with activities, supervision, and guidance.
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence-building.
• Contribute to meaningful programs that make a real impact on students’ lives.

We’re actively seeking educators with experience in:

• After-school programs
• Childcare / After-care
• Youth development

📍 Location: Gifford C. Cole Middle School
3126 E Avenue I, Lancaster, CA 93535

📅 Schedule: 3 days per week
⏰ Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (one day per week: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM)
💰 Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Experience working with children in after-school or educational settings (Required)
• Background in Football (Preferred)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Sunnyvale, CA
• Ability to pass background check, Live Scan, and TB test (CA requirements)
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
