The Corporate Technical Trainer directs the training staff and technical training at all facilities. Other duties include assisting
technicians with live technical trouble shooting to diagnose and repair material handling equipment. Role also includes
supporting technicians in the shops and field to create efficiency and track SST’s for the entire company under Atlanta
Forklifts. Other roles will include telemetry, Lithium Battery software, Linde, Karcher, Heli, Princeton, Manitou, Hyundai,
and Big Joe.
Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. Write and source materials and
hardware to be used in classroom and hands-on training. Conduct classes regarding safety, installation, programming,
maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. Receive technical assistance request calls from AFL employees.
Provide technical assistance by phone or at technician location in the field. There will be traveling involved with this
position.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Toyota Certified Trainer to be acquired (within 18 months).
Technical degree preferred.
Must have and maintain a clean driving record and current valid driver’s license
WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Most work is performed in a maintenance/classroom environment. Some work is performed in an office setting. This
position travels and conducts on-site training at all Atlanta Fork Lifts locations and responds to customer sites on occasion.
There is potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, chemicals, or solvents which require knowledge of
proper safety procedures. Must have the physical stamina to perform continuously will full body motion for climbing,
reaching, pushing, lifting and reaching, etc. Employee must have normal manual dexterity and be able to effectively
manipulate keyboard and phone. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities
required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to
adjust focus.
