The Affluent Client Advisor at UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited is responsible for managing and growing relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing tailored financial advice and solutions to meet their complex wealth management needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with affluent clients, understanding their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Proactively identify and assess client needs, offering comprehensive financial planning, investment solutions, and wealth management strategies.
  • Advise clients on a range of products and services, including investments, insurance, lending, and estate planning, in collaboration with internal specialists.
  • Monitor client portfolios, conduct regular reviews, and provide timely updates on market performance and investment opportunities.
  • Acquire new affluent clients through referrals, networking, and prospecting activities, expanding the bank's client base.
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies, adhering to ethical standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product teams to provide feedback on client needs and contribute to the development of new offerings.
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and competitor activities to provide informed advice to clients.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a similar client-facing role within the financial services industry, specifically dealing with affluent clients.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English, written and spoken.
  • Relevant licenses and certifications required by the Bank of Thailand (e.g., Investment Consultant license).
