- - - Responsible for financial and operational functions related to managing loan portfolio’s including: Balancing portfolio and cash transactions, loan level account maintenance, correcting entries,audits. Assist in completion of reconciling corporate financial statements and accounts. Support corporate compliance functions including SOC 1 audit, regulatory compliance, PII compliance, and SOP documentation. Manage client relationships, lead client meetings. Supervise and train Loan and Account Servicing Department personnel and all operational activities. Responsible for keeping department staff motivated and performing with excellence. This role is to be performed 100% on-site.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Duties
- Develop and enforce procedures, and production schedules to assure timely, accurate
completion of servicing functions
- Enforce that all servicing functions in the department are carried out in compliance with client, state and federal policies and regulations as well as company policies and expectations
- Loan portfolio balancing including loan group transfers, write offs, charge offs, remediation research, and other special handling loan maintenance
- Coordinate with MIS and other internal partners to develop and execute business initiatives
- Monthly billing support for HOA and loan clients including invoicing
- Audit packages for lenders, auditors and financial institutions
- Deposit operating cash receipts
- Supervision of 3 to 20 employees
- Upgrade system of policies, internal controls and accounting standards
- Continual check on system maintenance reports to be sure they are up to date.
- Assist Finance and Accounting with month end reconciliations for loan portfolios to balance loan and cash transactions as needed
- Operate as Subject Matter Expert (SME) of client portfolios, processes, compliance requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Staff Management Duties
- Manage the Loan and Account Servicing department including: work performance and efficiencies, human resources, training, corrective action, career pathing, scheduling, and general staff support
- Meet with direct reports weekly or monthly to discuss operational needs, challenges, progress, and expectations
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure staff have necessary tools and support
- Perform mid-year and yearly reviews for direct reports
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, it’s required in this position to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
- Keep AFC Director of Loan and Account Servicing informed of all progress and challenges
- Client meetings: Assume responsibility for responding to complex client services customer calls, emails, and 3rd party clients or vendors.
- Research and coordinate staff actions necessary to resolve client service problems and concerns
- Support client requests
OTHER DUTIES

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION (check what applies)
High School graduate or equivalent preferred
High School graduate or equivalent required
At least 2 year college (associate) degree preferred
4 year college degree preferred
4 year college degree required; Advanced degree preferred
Masters or MBA required
Other or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE
- Candidate should have Account Servicing, Financial Services experience in supporting complex bank reconciliations, process development, and driving day to day operations.
- Financial services experience in lending, insurance, or related to include processing of a large volume of monthly cash transactions and account maintenance, payment processing experience is a plus.
