Aesthetic Surgical Assistant - Boutique Cosmetic Surgery and Injectables Practice

Location: Tysons, VA

Schedule: Part-Time (minimum 2 days/week – Monday & Wednesday) or Full-Time

Dr. Maryam Nazemzadeh, better known as Dr. Naz, has quickly earned a national and international reputation for her artistry in cosmetic eye surgery and injectables, and for her unparalleled eye for beauty. Patients from across the U.S. and around the world come to Tysons, VA to experience her boutique-level care and expertise.

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented Surgical Assistant to support our surgical and procedural team. Whether you are looking for a part-time role or a full-time opportunity, this is your chance to get in on the ground floor of an extraordinary practice and be part of our dynamic, supportive team. The ideal candidate will have a background in both medical/cosmetic office as well as surgery and will be able to multitask in a high volume environment.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare the operating room, maintaining sterile environments, ensuring equipment functionality, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team to maximize patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Keep medical inventory supplies to ensure the practice is properly stocked.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate the surgeon's preferences and specific patient's needs to surgical team including but not limited to suture needs, specialty supplies and instrumentation, and equipment.
• Verify all implants, supplies and special procedure equipment is available and functional.
• Prepares the operating room by arranging instruments, supplies, and equipment to ensure readiness for surgical procedures
• Facilitate a cooperative team atmosphere through professional communication.

What We're Looking For:

Experience & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Assisting program, preferred.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and OR protocols.
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
