Position: Aerospace Quality Inspector

Location: Calgary, AB, Canada

Duration: Minimum 6 months

Frequency: 40 hours per week

:

• Support operations for inspections required by the documentation.
• Perform First Article Inspection for details parts and small sub-assemblies (as necessary)
• Ensure part is conformed to the engineering requirements and the documentation and fill-out 8130 documentation for conformity.
• Identify and document any non-conformance.
• Support non-conformance root cause analysis when required.

Qualifications:

The candidate has:

• Minimum 8+ years in Aerospace and a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 5+ years inspecting aeronautic parts
• Understanding of engineering, drawings, and GD&T
• Experience with filling 8130 documents
• Experience working on a new programs and First Articles.
• Experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
• Understanding and experience in AS9100 and AS9102
• Other Qualifications: MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Computer proficiency is required, team-minded, communicative, being proactive
