
The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Aeronautical Information Specialist to work in our St. Louis, MO office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the DoW Aeronautical Safety of Navigation mission.
This role involves managing incoming worldwide aeronautical updates from various sources and reviewing aeronautical safety of navigation documents and data for viability and accuracy.
Work both independently and as part of a team within a workflow driven by the 28 day AIRAC cycle.
A portion of this position can be supported remotely.
Primary Responsibilities
Cataloguing and updating aeronautical information in different formats, data entry, running checklists, following established guidance/standards, and troubleshooting.
Provides accurate and up to date safety of flight information to a global user base within multiple cutoff schedules of various products and services.
Responsibilities also include customer service with key stakeholders including the DoW aviation community.
Candidate must have experience frequently working with aeronautical publications.
Basic Qualifications
Two years of prior relevant experience with aeronautical publications
Experience working with aeronautical publications
US Citizenship required per program
Bachelor’s degree in aviation related field, GIS, information systems, or computer science preferred.
Experience with Adobe Acrobat, FTP and Microsoft Office Products
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Possess effective communication and be able to collaborate with Customers.
Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Customer Service experience a plus

Pay Range $45,500.00 - $82,250.00
