We are looking for an Aero Concept Designer who thrives on challenge, thinks beyond the obvious, and wants to shape the future direction of a Formula 1 car
In the Aero Concept team, our mission is clear: reduce the time to aero intent As an Aero Concept Designer, you’ll help turn early aerodynamic ideas into high quality, FIA legal 3D surfacing models for both wind tunnel testing and full-scale development. Your work will directly influence how quickly aerodynamic intent becomes physical reality.
This is more than just creating a CAD surface. This is about accelerating performance through precision aero design.
You’ll work closely with Aerodynamicists, Model Designers and Composite designers to deliver fast, robust geometry and support a culture that values high standards, open thinking and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable challenging standards when needed but is also able to get stuck in a deliver the job when it matters. You communicate clearly, collaborate with ease, and build strong relationships across disciplines.

Atlassian Williams F1 Team is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion. We are happy to discuss reasonable job adjustments.

Atlassian Williams Racing is one of the world’s leading Formula One teams. It exists purely to race in the top echelon of motor racing, where it’s been winning Grands Prix for more than three decades.
The Williams name has been synonymous with top-level motorsport since the 1960s. After running teams on the sport’s nursery slopes, team patron Frank Williams founded Frank Williams (Racing Cars) in 1966 and he entered F1 in 1969 with his friend Piers Courage behind the wheel.
Frank quickly earned a reputation as one of the industry’s more determined individuals and after selling his controlling interest in his original team, he established Williams Grand Prix Engineering with British engineer Patrick Head in 1977. They built their first car, the FW06, the following year and the team immediately went from strength-to-strength. Atlassian Williams Racing is currently the third most successful team on the grid.
