Job Description

The AAJV Global Engineering Leader is responsible for establishing L4 and L5 engineering standards, developing L4 and L5 engineering processes/procedures, and ensuring correct application in AAJV and supplier shops resulting in SQDC process improvements. This role will work closely with manufacturing engineering, shop, quality, and industrialization teams to ensure we standardize global processes and requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

  • This is a leadership position, covering multiple sites within the Aero Alliance JV and reporting to the CEO
  • As the Aero Alliance Joint Venture Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for creating global L4 and L5 engineering requirements, developing engineering processes, building a world class engineering organization and coordinating with GE Aerospace, GE Vernova, Baker Hughes, and our customers to optimize SQDC deliverables
  • Own engineering processes including but not limited to, Gate 0, router creation, component repair, repair development, and engine configuration
  • Learn/leverage and standardize best practices within the AAJV, with our channels partners, with GE Aerospace, and across the broader industry
  • Lead, mentor, and develop others in areas of focus/expertise
  • Establish a formal cadence with each AAJV function for engineering support

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college; or equivalent experience
  • Proven significant leadership experience spanning Engineering with a proven track record of implementing SQDC improvements
  • Experience creating an engineering organization
