This role is a senior technical leadership position focused on strengthening and scaling Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) capabilities across complex digital experience programs. You will define architectural direction and drive technical excellence across AEM ecosystems, including Sites, Assets, Headless CMS, Cloud Service, and Edge Delivery Services. The position combines deep solution architecture expertise with innovation responsibilities, particularly around Generative AI and Agentic AI integration into enterprise digital platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including delivery, pre-sales, and competency leaders, to standardize best practices and ensure scalable, high-quality implementations. This is also a people leadership role, where you will mentor and grow technical teams while building long-term capability maturity. Accountabilities
You will be responsible for leading AEM architecture strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring delivery excellence across digital experience platforms while mentoring technical teams and aligning global standards.
- Define and drive the technical vision for AEM (Sites, Assets, Headless CMS, Cloud Service) and Edge Delivery Services (EDS)
- Establish architectural standards, reusable frameworks, accelerators, and governance models across programs
- Provide architectural oversight to ensure scalability, performance, security, and alignment with enterprise standards
- Drive adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI across digital experience workflows and customer journeys
- Develop AI-powered accelerators for content management, personalization, DAM, and automation use cases
- Collaborate with pre-sales and solution teams to support proposals, architecture blueprints, and client presentations
- Lead capability building initiatives, including training programs, CoE development, and competency roadmaps
- Ensure delivery governance through coding standards, reviews, and best practice enforcement
- Mentor and manage teams of AEM developers, architects, and technical leads
- Act as escalation point for delivery challenges and ensure successful resolution of critical issues
Requirements
This role requires deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager architecture, strong leadership experience, and advanced knowledge of modern digital experience platforms and AI-driven solutions.
- 12+ years of experience in digital experience platforms, with at least 4+ years in AEM/EDS architect-level roles
- Strong hands-on expertise in AEM Sites, Assets, Headless CMS, and Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service
- Exposure to AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) is highly preferred
- Proven experience in solution architecture using microservices, APIs, and cloud-native systems
- Strong understanding of Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, content automation) and Agentic AI concepts
- Experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and managing performance and delivery outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management experience across global clients and pre-sales engagements
- Familiarity with AEM certification is a plus
- Ability to define technical strategy and drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
