As a Senior Proposal Specialist at Lochner, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of an exciting period of growth in the South Central Region. Your Impact
- Leads active pursuit efforts and collaborates with operational staff and marketing team to respond to Requests for

Qualifications/Letters of Interest and Requests for Proposals.
- Develops and ensures compliance with proposal management documents, including proposal development schedules, outlines, and assignments.
- Establishes production schedule and expedites various items to ensure completion by the designated due date.
- Leads pursuit-related meetings including strategy calls, go/no go discussions, kickoffs, and proposal reviews; incorporates discussion items into proposal and presentation content.
- Writes proposal content using ISBP method where appropriate; coordinates with technical and marketing teams on content development.
- Proofreads, edits, and formats proposal and interview presentation material content; edits content developed by technical/lead staff.
- Leads document layout, gathers information and content, and coordinates internal and external data calls.
- Develops figures/graphics to support proposal submittal and interview material content; works with graphic designers and technical team when appropriate.
- Ensures quality control process is followed for all proposal submittals and various collateral.
- Coordinates final submission of documents, whether print or electronic.
- Facilitates interview presentation preparation efforts including presentation formatting, content development and edits, team coordination efforts, etc.
- Leads/attends interview preparation and coaching meetings (virtual and in person).
- Writes and edits employee and project collateral; interviews staff to obtain information and use information to develop compelling content for proposal and marketing collateral.
- Assists with market research and competitive analysis efforts, providing key insights that inform pursuit strategies.
- Demonstrates relentless attention to detail, document quality, and pursuit compliance.
- Manages marketing tasks/assignments, such as developing and submitting TxDOT precertification applications, obtaining project photography and processing for marketing use, etc.
- Conducts employee and project record updates through Deltek Vision CRM system.
Who You Are
- 6+ years of experience in a marketing role within the AEC industry, with proven proposal, presentation, and pursuit management skills.
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of the AEC industry, its markets, and service lines.
- Ability to independently manage pursuits, including proposals and presentations, while collaborating with technical and operational leads.
- Expertise in Adobe InDesign for document layout and graphics, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint for creating engaging presentations.
- Advanced writing and editing skills, supported by fast, precise typing for capturing detailed notes and developing proposal content.
- Understand the ISBP method and the Shipley Process.
- Experience with CRM systems (Deltek Vision preferred) is a plus.
- Must reside within the Central Time Zone and near a Lochner office with the ability to travel within the state of Texas.

Work Environment
