Job Description

Status: Part-Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Hourly Rate: $16.20

Schedule: Flexible Schedule - Evenings and weekends may be required.

Summary of Position: Hourly, part-time positions are available serving youth and families throughout Chicago. Advocates provide individualized support in community, school, and home settings while serving as positive role models for youth.

  • Make a lasting impact by serving as a trusted advocate, mentor, and positive role model for youth and families throughout the community.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of direct advocacy services designed to help participants overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Partner with youth, families, schools, and community resources to create individualized, strengths-based service plans using the wraparound model.
  • Position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior Experience working with at-risk youth and families in a community, school, and home setting
  • Experience working in community-based services and knowledge of community resources.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general knowledge of using computers
  • Experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is preferred.
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
