Job Description

Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

of the Position: This is an hourly, part-time position providing mentorship and advocacy for youth and families throughout Bath

  • The ideal candidate will be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.
  • The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
  • All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
  • This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage ($0.50/mile), and activity reimbursement.

Hourly Rate: $21 per hour

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills is highly preferred; knowledge of electronic health record systems (EHR) is a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
  • Position requires reliable transportation, driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
