An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Advisory Officer to join a major public infrastructure organization in Arnhem, Netherlands. In this role, you will contribute to mobility and accessibility initiatives focused on the national road network in the Eastern Netherlands, supporting long-term infrastructure planning and asset management programs for 2030–2040.
You will work within the Mobility & Accessibility team, contributing to strategic analyses, advisory products, and network planning initiatives that help improve the future performance and accessibility of the Dutch national road network.
Key Responsibilities
Support mobility and accessibility projects related to the national road network in the Eastern Netherlands.
Contribute to functional and regional analyses within asset management programs.
Assist in translating analyses into recommendations for long-term infrastructure programming.
Ensure relevant mobility and regional data is correctly documented within designated systems according to national standards.
Support the development and improvement of network planning formats and methodologies.
Contribute to advisory products related to traffic, transport, and mobility.
Help assess impacts, costs, and risks associated with network recommendations.
Collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders to gather and integrate relevant expertise.
Requirements
Minimum HBO (Higher Professional Education) degree.
At least 2 years of experience within traffic, transport, and mobility.
Strong understanding of mobility advisory processes and infrastructure planning.
Experience developing and delivering advisory products.
Ability to translate analytical insights into tactical recommendations.
Knowledge of asset management principles is highly desirable.
Understanding of the national road network in the Eastern Netherlands is advantageous.
Strong collaboration, initiative-taking, and result-oriented working style.
Professional proficiency in Dutch is required.
