Job Description & Summary

Our Deals team supports clients through complex financial, operational, and strategic challenges. As a Manager, you will lead and deliver a varied portfolio of client-facing assignments across insolvency, financial and operational restructuring, investigations, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and other corporate advisory matters. You will apply commercial judgement, financial analysis, and PwC methodologies to help clients evaluate options, manage risk, and achieve successful outcomes.

Duties will include:

  • Lead day-to-day activities and deliverables across insolvency, financial and operational restructuring, investigations, M&A, valuations and other corporate advisory engagements. including independent business reviews, strategic reviews, options analysis, cash-flow analysis. pre-insolvency advice, contingency planning, executory processes, and schemes of arrangement.
  • Prepare clear, high-quality reports, presentations, and other documents for clients and stakeholders across advisory and executory roles
  • Manage relationships with clients, creditors, regulators, and external advisers, including consultants, auditors, actuaries, and lawyers.
  • Plan and manage engagements, including scope, deliverables, timelines, work in progress budgets, and matter profitability, while maintaining internal risk management and quality-control standards.
  • Coordinate with PwC teams globally and engage subject-matter specialists to bring relevant methodologies and leading practices to client engagements
  • Coach and support junior team members, provide constructive feedback, and deliver internal training.
  • Use technology and digital tools, including GenAl, to enhance client delivery, productivity, and engagement profitability.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities, developing proposals and pitch materials, and participating in client pitches.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related subject from an accredited university;
  • Internationally recognised professional qualifications such as CPA/CA/ACA/ACCA. Candidates with other professional or academic qualifications and relevant professional experience will also be considered
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience working in a Big 4 or consulting environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in insolvency, restructuring or related distressed advisory engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to support problem-solving, strategic decision-making, and planning activities;
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Alteryx);
  • Proven track record of successfully managing consulting projects, client relationships, and teams;
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; anc
